So as some of you might know I have been a patient of Dr. Drew's for over 3 years and in that time he has helped my diabetes  (5.7 A1C now) and my asthma (no pills or inhalers needed for last 2 years even during exercise) but I was unable to get off of my blood pressure medication.  I was working on it and slowing weaning myself off, but my numbers were still too high to say completely goodbye.  So this last week was the first week that I have been MEDICATION FREE since the age of 5.  This is huge for me and I still get teary eyed thinking about it.

What I hope you can take away from my story is that I didn't give up.  I kept up with my adjustments and slowly getting better with living the 5 essentials.  I was persistant (which some of  you know I can be ) in making sure my body was healthy and healing enough to be able to be medication free.  Does this mean I'm stopping?  HECK NO!!  Only gives me more motivation to live the 5 essentials for the rest of my life and make sure my body is functioning at 100%.  So adjustments will be a part of my life for the rest of my life as well as eating healthy, exercising, reducing/eliminating toxins and keeping my mind open and positive for things yet to come in my life.

I know living the 5 essentials isn't easy and sometimes it takes a long time to accomplish, but I don't want you to ever give up, think its hopeless or stop trying to improve every day, week, month, year.  Trust me its well worth all the frustration and criticism from others.  If you ever feel like quitting, or that you are failing at it please let us know.  We are here for you to help support you in whatever way we can.  Honestly I got better at living the 5 essentials when I surrounded myself with Dr. Drew and the staff and others that were trying the same thing.  So even if you need support during a non-adjusting day give us a call, send us a message on facebook, send us an email, we are all here to encourage, support and motivate you to be the best you can be.  The limits are endless when you open everything up and live life to your god-given potential!!

God bless,
Megan Melville
